Our department is a branch of the Paramedic Division, Energy Medical Services (EMS) Education. We offer courses for people pursuing a career in pre-hospital or hospital-based emergency medical services. Our department offers three courses through the Community College of Denver (CCD): EMT-Basic, ECG Interpretation, and IV Therapy. Even though the program is through Denver Health, participants must enroll as a student of CCD to enroll in the classes. EMS Education also has a 12-month Paramedic School program that leads to a certificate of completion and eligibility to take the National Registry Paramedic exam.
